Job description
The chosen candidate will be in charge of providing designs and related purchase specifications for a variety of Engineered-to-Order Wet Seal Systems for Global Strategic Oil and Gas Projects. This will involve working with various stakeholders, primarily those involved in Global Projects Applications and Sales Support, Fluid Control Bidding, Fluid Control CoEs, Global Engineering, Global Operations, etc.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Upon receiving an order for API 682 auxiliary sealant systems and its auxiliary units, to study, interpret, and develop the project’s requirements and deliverables.
- To use Solid Edge and other engineering management tools to build and publish a wide range of Engineered-to-Order wet seal system General Arrangement Drawings (GAs) in accordance with project specifications.
- Sizing for varied applications of chosen items, auxiliary pipework, valves, and equipment
- Apply engineering techniques and software to pressure vessel calculations (for medium to high pressures).
- Bill of Material creation on SAP and drawing management in Team Center
- preparing datasheets in accordance with industry formats, instrument hook-up drawings, instrument IO lists, and utility lists.
- to regularly uphold high standards for work production (documents that are 100% error-free) and delivery deadlines.
- Maintain timely control over customer feedback and engineering modifications.
- Must be responsible for adhering to departmental policies, practices, and design standards.
- Should aggressively support and foster ongoing progress.
- Perform a Root Cause Analysis and make sure that agreed-upon Corrective Actions are regularly carried out (8D/RCA/GCN procedure)
- to offer technical assistance as needed during the bidding process

The Individual
Graduate Engineer or Industrial Production, Mechanical, Instrumentation, or Engineering Diploma
Industrial Experience: Typically, 2 to 5 years of experience in a variety of Process Industries, such as the Oil and Gas, Chemical, Petroleum, and Petrochemical Industries, or in Industries that Supply Equipment to Such Process Industries, such as Pumps, Compressors, Seals or Associated Auxiliary Equipment
Functional Experience: Working knowledge of designing, choosing, sizing, and creating goods that are made to order, such as lubrication systems or seal support systems.
Technical Experience:
- strong practical experience in 2D drafting, 3D part modelling, and 3D assembly environments, ideally in Solid Edge
- strong P&ID expertise and familiarity with necessary ASTM/ASME norms
- application expertise with auxiliary piping systems, such as pump seal systems, oil lubricating consoles, pre-jacking systems, HP-LP systems, filtration units, etc.
- should be dedicated to providing excellent customer service and working with different divisions
- English language proficiency is required, as well as a commitment to teamwork and strong interpersonal skills.
- It is ideal if you have previous experience choosing and publishing purchasing specifications (Datasheets) for field measuring equipment including pressure, level, and temperature gauges, transmitters, etc.
- Experience in supervision or coordination with manufacturers of lube oil systems, filters, or other comparable low- and high-pressure equipment would be advantageous.
- Being familiar with APIs 610 and 614 will be beneficial.
- It is preferable if you have experience in the aforementioned Oil & Gas, Chemical, Petrochemical, Power, Steel, and Chemical sectors.
