Job description
Key Responsibilities
The duties of the Mechanical Designer are amongst others:
- Application of the Design Process,
- Check the completeness of the inputs received from the Technical Project Manager and basic engineering department in order to proceed to his/her work,
- Provide the engineers with information needed for the project progress,
- Issue the execution documentation (mainly GA and detailed drawings) in compliance with internal standards and contractual requirements,
- Issue the execution documentation in compliance with administrative standards,
- Issue BOM’s (bill of quantities) for raw material purchasing,
- Issue and update the standard technical documentation,
- Keep his competencies updated with regards to the needs of the Energy Business,
- Be proactive in the continuous improvement and REX (return on experience) processes.
Education & Experience
- 0-1 year relevant experience within an engineering context.
- Diploma or Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering
