Position – Product Design Engineer

Location – Vadodara, Gujarat
ACTIVITIES
- Utilizes standard CAD design techniques, skills, design rules, and specifications to prepare design documents related to project engineering, determine scales, perform mathematical calculations and prepare project documentation, General arrangement and cross-sectional drawing, piping and instrumentation diagrams and similar other documents required for live orders.
- Responsible for the specification and/or selection of standard parts, drawings, documents suitable for the live order under development. Considerations weighed in making these determinations include design properties, processing properties, production environments, and end-use environments.
- Improve and optimize the documentation time per live order
- Update engineering lead and get the future work roadmap.
- Interact with other Engineering Manager to understand the input and deliver the output before stipulated timeframe.
Position Requirements
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- State formal education level, work experience, & specialization required. State additional professional, technical, skills or knowledge required.
Education:
- Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree Mechanical engineering with 1 to 4 years of working experience in Pump / Contract Engineering – Pumps / Project Consulting firms / Project Engineering firms / EPC firms
Experience:
- Minimum 1 years’ experience in Mechanical engineering enhanced by industrial product experiences resulting in pump selection abilities and board-based manufacturing technologies knowledge.
Skills/Knowledge sought:
- Pump and valve products knowledge
- Chemical and Oil & Gas industry knowledge
- Strong design judgment.
- Good knowledge of AutoCAD and Creo
- Good knowledge of MS-Office and Ms-Project
- Knowledge of ERP system is desirable
