Job Description
- Design Code Knowledge: Hand on experience with background knowledge of few design codes like ASME Sec. VIII Div. 1 & Div. 2, ASME Sec III Div. 1 NB, NC, and ND.
- Essential Domain Knowledge: Finite element analysis to meet design criteria in design code like ASME Sec VIII Div. 2 or ASME Sec III Div. 1 NB or equivalent towards various scopes such as :
- Static analyses of equipment using axisymmetric or 3 D modeling of Pressure Equipment.
- Evaluation of transient temperature distribution based on thermal boundary condition followed by evaluation of thermal stress analyses.
- Fatigue damage evaluation for given cyclic loadings (Pressure and Thermal Transients)
- Eigenvalue analyses for vibration or buckling.
- Seismic evaluation using floor response Spectra of time history method.
- Design Software Knowledge: ANSYS (Preferred) or Equivalent.
