Job description

• Manager – Supply Chain (Logistics, Export, Import, & Customer Support functions ) is responsible for the Supply chain function at Kadthal Plant and ensures that Plant is meeting its business needs. He/She is one of the primary points of contact between our Plant team and vendors, from vendor development, procuring quotation, analysis, and finalization of the vendor, orders placing, co-ordinate, receipt of the right quality of material, and payment closure.
• He/She is responsible for ensuring the right products are delivered to the right location on time, to the quality required, and in the most cost-effective way. He/She also takes care of all the documentation, analysis required from placing of order to the delivery of the goods to the Plant within the budgeted cost and time-frame
• He/She is responsible for entering into contracts with the transporters, regular coordination with transporters, ensuring that contractors follow all laid down procedures, on-time despatch, and delivery of material with proper documentation.
• Located in our Kadthal Plant, the Manager – Supply Chain will report to the General Manager – Supply Chain based in Hyderabad (India head office).

• Responsible for planning, developing, and buying raw materials, parts, supplies, equipment, in a timely and cost-effective way; timely manner while maintaining appropriate quality standards and specifications.
• Responsible for domestic logistics management from Plant to Port, Mines to Plant.
• Responsible for warehouse management.
• New vendor development
• Manage vendor relationships and assist in building effective partnerships.
• Ensuring that there is no downtime due to logistic needs
• Strong in establishing and implementation of supply chain-related processes
• Ensure supplier compliance with site and company requirements for safety.

Qualifications

• Education: B.Com graduate/ Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
• Preferred diploma in Material Management or Masters in Supply Chain management.
• A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in supply chain and logistics,
• A proven record of adaptability to different cultures
