Job description
IIT Gandhinagar (IITGN) invites applications for the following project positions for a research.
JRF (1 post)
- Essential Qualification – BE/ BTech/ ME/ MTech in Civil/Mechanical/Chemical Engineering or related areas with minimum 60% marks or equivalent CGPA in aggregate. Candidates with BTech degree should have a valid GATE score.
- Preferred Skills – Water distribution network(WDN), hydrology, resilience, fieldwork, data acquisition/Automation of WDN, IOT for WDN, signal processing.
- Duration – Initial appointment is for one year, extendable up to 3 years based on performance.
- Remuneration – Rs 31,000/month for first 2 years, then Rs 35, 000/month.
Project Assistant (1 post)
- Essential Qualification – BE/ BTech/ MBA with minimum 70% marks or equivalent CGPA in aggregate.
- Preferred Skills – Field work, data acquisition, survey, interaction with city administration, preparing reports
- Duration: Initial appointment is for one year, extendable up to 3 years based on performance.
- Remuneration: Rs 22,000/month.
