Job description
Education BE/ B.tech – Production/ Mechanical/Metallurgy with Six Sigma Green Belt or Trained with Basic lean tools / Internal Auditor for ISO 9001 /PDCA system Approach
- Prepare Quality assurance plans, checklist, and ITP. work with suppliers to establish acceptance criteria. Implement APQP Process at a supplier for the new development of parts
- Prepare a sampling plan and follow the same for incoming inspection. Get corrective and preventive actions for incoming rejections. Record and maintain material test certificate and supplier inspection report.
- Analyze supplier rejection data and prepare an action plan with suppliers to improve supplier quality.
- Drive RCCM process within Business to reduce customer complaints as well in process rejection & rework.
- Drive Continuous improvement within Business
- Do the production process audits in-house and at the supplier, end to identify improvement opportunities.
- Prepare and maintain a calibration schedule for measuring instruments.
- Manage third-party/customer Witness. review for Final M/C inspection, Run test & Factory acceptance test
- Participate effectively in the supplier assessment process for onboarding reliable suppliers
- Ensure timely ERP transactions for parts acceptance /rejections. Provide monthly rejection data to prepare supplier scorecard
- Maintain QMS documents for the value stream
