Job description

Job summary: Design, commission & integrates highly complex Security & Safety systems as per project requirement. Generate quality deliverables within the agreed time & budget.

Responsibilities:

• Should execute the projects independently – Security & Safety system’s Hardware/ Software Detail Design, Commissioning support, Installation supervision, FAT & SAT to the customer.
• Should have Detail Design knowledge & worked on large scale projects contain ACS, CCTV, BIDS, PIDS, Intercom, FAS & PAVA system
• Study project inputs like Project technical specification, Floor Layouts, consultant generated Architectures, Risers etc.
• Raise RFIs to the customer, identify technical risk in the project & flag them proactively to the customer, PM/EM
• Generate Detail Engineering deliverables like Floor Plans, Wiring diagram, Typical Installation drawings, Panel GA, System Architecture, System Risers, C&E Matrix, FDS, O&M Manuals, FAT & SAT Procedures etc.
• Should be able to work on required supporting deliverables for system design like – Battery Calculation, CCTV Storage Calculation, Controller sizing, Data room/comms room UPS calculation, CCTV Coverage study, Acoustic study for PAVA.
• Sound knowledge of Integration of various systems in a IBMS project. Should have good hands-on experience of Integration of third-party systems.
• Ensures that the deliverables of Engineer are reviewed with respect to project standards and quality documents
• Ensures that the final deliverable meets the functional specifications of the end user by verifying first level quality check is performed by the designer and doing thorough second level quality checks using quality checklist
• Hands on experience of commissioning of above-mentioned Security & Safety systems. Should have commissioned large scale systems.
• Should have experience of conducting FAT for customer on technical parameters like demonstrating required system functionality to the customer, clearing Punch points given by customer etc.
• Ensure participation in weekly calls with Project Manager/ customers from branch office.
• Preparation and participation in project review meetings with technical queries and scope clarification and sending out meeting notes
• Preparing engineering estimates
• Identify possible improvement opportunities in processes and standards
• Knowledge of other ELV, Telecom & IBMS systems will be an advantage.

Skills

• Sound knowledge of security & safety domain. Networking fundamentals. Any Certifications such as NICET will be added advantage.
• Vertical knowledge – IBMS system s for Mixed use developments, Smart Cities, Transpiration and Industrial
• Any certification of security and safety systems products such as ProWatch, Milestone, Gallagher, Edwards, Simplex, Variodyn etc.
