Purpose:
Strengthening category management of indirect spend of OBU & support OBU for cost reduction through cost planning initiative by promoting RA tool in a compliant way.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Logistics category management:
- Coordinate for OBU spend data collection & analysis, frame strategy & supplier relation management in coordination with HQ-VID.
- Periodic MIS data collection to calculate the saving through logistics council.
- Manage the operational challenges in logistics council with smooth coordination between OBU & suppliers.
- Reverse Auction:
- Coordinate with OBU for collect RA requests,
- Schedule RA event & train suppliers for RA.
- Monitor cost saving through RA.
Qualifications:
Minimum
- Engineer (Mechatronics/Mechanical)
- 3 ~ 5 years’ Experience in localization, sourcing, category management (Logistics).
- Good communication, analytical skills, logical thinking & presentation skills.
Preferred
- Experience in working for Regional Head Quarter in category/commodity management domain.
- Worked in supply chain management department of any manufacturing plant.
- Exposure in working with Japanese companies.
Previous experience in Siemens / Honeywell / logistics start-up companies
