Position – Mechanical Design Engineer

Job description

The selected engineer will be the part of factory engineering team of dry transformer design.
Preparation of tender drawings and order drawings for onward submission to customer for their review and approval as per the project schedule.
Responsible for generating manufacturing, purchase drawings and Bill of material meeting factory limitations, guidelines, and checklists.
Coordinating design activities with HUB and Global team for any special requirements and new implementations
Participation in internal design concept reviews and even with other functions for any special designs
Visiting shop floor to attend to issues if any and resolve it.

Graduate in Mechanical Engineering.
2-7 years of experience working in Mechanical design for dry type or oil filled transformers manufacturing industry. Candidates with higher experience also to be considered.
Should have good understanding of IS/ IEC / CBIP standards.
Should know about dry-type transformers.
Experience in winding design is an advantage.
Knowledge of CAD software, and 3D Modeling software like Creo is must.
Experience in Microsoft Office, E3 software, SAP and any other analysis tools is an added advantage.
Ability to speak and work together with technical teams in different parts of the world.
Demonstrated team building skills, would be a preference.
Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
