We need you to work with our customers/partners and influence in very early stage of projects, plan to promote our technical value proposition and then keep everyone accountable for the delivery according to the plan. Your responsibilities

• Diversified project / product experience in Substation Structures.
• Capability in managing structural designing being well versed in various codes like EN, BS, ASCE, ACI, IS, UBC/IBC standards etc., & Other substation related national standards.
• Detailed engineering and planning for supporting structures of equipment and other components of substation.
• Earthquake resistance structural design with Response spectra analysis. (CQC & SRSS Method at least)
• Detailed design and Analysis of Tower/Gantry, GIS Building Design, Prefabricated / Pre-Engineered buildings, Transformer Foundation, Cable supporting Elements, etc.
• Detailed design and Analysis of special substation components like Containers, Skid For Electrical Equipments etc.,
• The designer should produce the detail design by considering all the specials loads for container design like Transportation and Erection loads with other general Loads.
• And designer should have sound knowledge to make the structural stability by introducing additional structural elements like tension rod to meet the Safety Standards.
• Ability to validate the Vendor Containers designs for its Structural stability, Material Specification and Cost effective aspects
• Complete structural detailing knowledge with comprehensive understanding of different steel material codes Indian, British, European, American etc.,
• Preparation of Civil foundation load data of steel structure & design of foundation bolts & base plates in an effective manner with detailed calculations.
• Excellence in detail preparation and planning of the connection design of structure.
• Structural design using STAAD-Pro / ROBOT for Substation design works and shall recommended cost effective design solutions.
• Material selection, Material Requisitions / BOQ Preparations.

Your background

• A University Degree in Structural/Mechanical Engineering – M Tech with 3 to 4 years of relevant experience.
• Proficient in using STAAD-PRO/ROBOT. Optional – RISA, ETABS, SAFE
• Knowledge of structural design standard like BS, EN, ASCE, IS and other international code
• Knowledge of software like Tekla, AutoCAD, Excel etc.
• Good in Planning, presentation and communication skills.
• In depth knowledge of the phase of project Execution, cycle including pre engineering work.
