Job description
Position Summary:
The person defined shall provide the technical support regarding machine design, GAD with detailed manufacturing drawings. Shall be skilled in the application of 3D modeling systems (e.g. SolidWorks).
Major tasks of the Engineer machine design and related to mechanical engineering.
Job Experience: 4 to 6 years of experience with machine design or similar roles.
Work You’ll Do:
- Machine design (Extrusion), order processing and development for components in the downstream equipment/discharge parts of polyolefin extrusion systems
- Technical clarification with the liaison engineer
- Expertise in Manufacturing drawings
- Creation of parts lists in SAP
- Support for product families such (as screen changers, discharge components, pelletizers or equivalent).
Team: Mechanical Design Engineer
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical
Preferred Qualifications:
- Completed engineering studies in mechanical engineering with a specialization in machine design or equivalent
- Very good knowledge of CAD (SolidWorks)
- Good knowledge of office applications on PC (MS Office)
- Very good spoken and written English skills
- Good communication and team skills
- Experience in the plastics industry
- Knowledge of SAP (if not available, the candidate will be trained)
