Job description
- Carry out basic measurements of construction works by referring to standard methods such as IS 1200, POMI, or NRM2 and using CAD, CostX, and other measuring software. Assist in measuring individual trades, including foundations, structural elements, masonry, and finishes.
- Support cost estimation activities by identifying basic material and labour rates and understanding rate analysis for standard work items.
- Support post-contract activities by understanding key contract terms and the contract work process flow.
- Assisting in the preparation of payment recommendation reports.
- Should have basic knowledge in CAD, Cost-X (qty take off tools), and other quantification/estimation software.
