Job description
- MONITORING & IMPROVING THE PAINTING PROCESS ON THE SHOP FLOOR.
- TRAINING & GETTING RESULTS FORM THE WORKERS, INSPECTORS, AND ENGINEERS ON THE VARIOUS QUALITY EXPECTATION FROM THE PRODUCT.
- IMPLEMENTING & CONTROLLING THE QUALITY OF THE PRODUCT BY STATISTICAL PROCESS CONTROL.
- KNOWLEDGE FOR ISO 9001/14001/18001. COORDINATING WITH THE CUSTOMER FOR IMPLEMENTATION OF CAPA AND CLOSURE OF QUALITY POINTS IN SHORTEST POSSIBLE TIME.
- ABILITY to run A PAINT LAB, AND MANAGING PAINT KITCHEN.
- Experience in coating industry & protective coating manufacturing, automobile, etc. With in-depth knowledge of various coating application systems. The familiarity of various types of surface preparation treatments, application of coatings, and paint testing.
- Acquainted with all types of coatings.
- Liquid painting on MS and SS material
- Experience of coating industry related to various jobs such as application supervisor, painting defects, and various tests, on-site in charge, process auditor, third party inspector for clients.
- Conducting applicator painting training. imparting training to blasters,
- Comprehensive knowledge & understanding of international standards like ASTM, NACE, ISO etc.
- Hands-on experience of surface preparation & application
- Preparing and reviewing the quality plan, work instructions, surface preparations, & coatings applications procedures, coating repair procedures,
- Familiar with all coating instruments and laboratory tests
- Safety conscious & give more importance to safety & safe work practice.
- Knowledge of- SALT SPRAY TEST, BLAST CLEANING, ADHESION TEST BY TAPE, PULL OFF TEST, BLOTTER TEST, MEL RUB TEST, DFT CHECK, SURFACE PROFILE USING REPLICA TAPE
- CANDIDATES FROM PAINT LABS WILL ALSO BE PREFERRED BUT THEY SHOULD HAVE GOOD KNOWLEDGE OF ALL PAINT TESTING AND ALL INSTRUMENTS
Required Candidate profile
- Chemical/ Mechanical Engineer or paint technologist from a reputed institution with minimum first class in the final year.
- The candidate who are certified painting inspectors as perNACE level II will be given preference.
