Role

As the Manufaturing Quality Line Incharge Standard Roomyou will be part of the Quality and will report to the Manufacturing Quality Shift In-charge Engine Plant. The purpose of your role will be to Ensure timely development, inspection, calibration and maintenance of gauges and instruments for utilization on shop floor, to prevent defect generation and line loss

A purpose driven role for you

Your key responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

1. Timely calibration of the gauges/instruments as per schedule across the plant
2. Prepare & maintain calibration records for All the gauges
3. Develop user-friendly gauges
4. Inspection & calibration of new model for gauges
5. Plan for gauge inspection at vendor end
6. Eliminate issues before mass production
7. Ensure gauge availability before mass production
8. Inspection support and troubleshooting on shop floor to avoid line stoppage
9. Plan for in-house gauge servicing
10. Ensure Gauge reliability
11. Provide solution for gauge error and any other cause related to gauges
12. Inventory management of spares & gauges

A Day in the life

1. Calibration of the gauges for the entire plant as per schedule
2. Line stoppage due to gauge-related issues on the shop floor
3. Timely delivery/inspection of the new model gauges
4. Co-ordination with internal stakeholders & cross-functional teams for Gauge and instrumentation calibration & its records and troubleshooting, New Model Gauges, Opening sap codes for new model gauges, Office TPM, Improvements in system
5. Co-ordination with Audit agencies for IMS, NABL audits
6. Co-ordination with Suppliers for Gauge development & timely delivery
7. Co-ordination with Machine service engineer for Machine service and troubleshooting
8. Co-ordination with External calibration agency for Timely calibration and calibration certificates
9. Co-ordination with External Instruments & gauges Repairing agency for Faulty instruments and gauges repairing

Academic Qualification & Experience

Diploma / Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical. Diploma
6 ~ 8 Years/ BE -2 ~ 4 Years.
