Role

As the Plant Manufacturing Quality – Machne shop Team Manager you will be part of the Manufacturing Quality team and will report to Plant SQA Group Lead Prop. The purpose of your role is to Ensure adherence to quality standards & system of proprietary (mechanical & electrical) components by evaluation & improvement of product & process quality at supplier end to ensure overall customer satisfaction.

A purpose driven role for you

Your key responsibilities will include,

Ensure inspection of incoming parts as per plan (BOP, Spare parts etc.)

MIS/Report generation
Ensure closure of issues/deviations
Ensure Quality Sustenance & Improve Existing supplier/ components through
audits/QAVs and gap closure
warranty analysis
benchmarking of Best Practices to deploy horizontally
Ensure Product, Process & System approval and establishment for smooth and trouble free development within stipulated time during New Model development.

A Day in the life

To ensure Zero defect generation & outflow from area.
To do Daily Basis Product & Process Audit.
To Do analysis for issues Identified within Shop, At internal customers & external customers.
To Use different Quality tools and identify root casse , Propose the required actions & way forward with engineering solutions
To establish the product/process quality of new model.·
To maintain & improve quality level with new technologies.
Ensure adherence to Quality Standards & Systems for Manufacturing Quality
To implement Horizontal Deployments identified through benchmarking

Academic Qualification & Experience

Graduation/Diploma in Engineering in Mechanical Engg
Minimum 4-5 years of experience in manufacturing, and 2-3 years in an automotive-competent Manufacturing firm
