Location: Jaipur, Rajasthan, India

Role Overview:

As an Engineer – Simulation at Hero MotoCorp, you will work within a team responsible for simulating the physical behavior and loading conditions of parts and assemblies. The role involves preprocessing (meshing) and performing simulations under guidance to ensure stiffness, strength, and durability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Simulation and Meshing:
  Perform meshing and simulate stiffness, strength, and durability of structural parts and assemblies under various loading conditions.
• Function Understanding:
  Understand the function of components to derive accurate load cases for virtual evaluations.
• Analysis and Design Improvements:
  Conducted analysis and suggested design improvements to expert engineers for review and approval.
• Testing Support:
  Identify critical high-stress locations and collaborate with the testing team for physical testing on the track.

Academic Qualification & Experience:

• Education:
  • B.Tech or M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience:
  • Knowledge of two-wheeler products like scooters, motorcycles, and step-through vehicles.
  • Experience in finite element analysis (FEA), solid mechanics, material science, vibrations, fatigue, CAE software, and meshing guidelines.

Technical Skills & Knowledge:

• Understanding of engineering principles related to two-wheelers.
• Strong knowledge of solid mechanics, vibrations, fatigue, and FEA tools.
• Competence with simulation and meshing tools such as CAE software.

• Open-mindedness to new approaches and high flexibility.
