Role

Responsible for New Model Development – Vehicle NVH Validation Testing,

Work closely with suppliers and internal teams to develop and validate NVH-related components and systems, such as electric motors, drivetrains, and frames.

Participate in research and development activities to explore innovative solutions for noise and vibration reduction
Develop a comprehensive Test Menu, Standard Operating Procedures and DVPs for NVH testing, ensuring the validity and accuracy of results

A purpose-driven role for you

As Engineer-NVH Testing, ensure timely development and delivery of EV models having exceptional ride comfort, reduced noise levels and superior user experience. Work closely with CFT, including design, electrical engineering and validation teams to optimize NVH performance throughout the product development lifecycle

A Day in the life

Conduct comprehensive NVH analysis to identify and mitigate noise and vibration issues during vehicle development

Perform acoustic and vibration measurements, both in the lab and on-road, to assess and validate NVH performance
Perform root cause analysis and troubleshooting of NVH related issues in collaboration with other engineering disciplines
Propose and implement design changes to reduce the noise and vibration levels to enhance overall ride comfort
Prepare detailed technical reports on NVH analysis, testing and optimization
Contribute to the creation of technical documentation related to EV NVH

Academic Qualification & Experience

B. Tech/M. Tech in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering

Technical Skills/Knowledge

Solid understanding of NVH principles, measurements and analysis tools. Proficiency in using NVH software packages such as Siemens Test Lab, HEAD Acoustics, B&K and/or similar tools

Behavioral Skills

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to apply engineering principles to diagnose and resolve NVH issues. Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with CFT
