A purpose-driven role for you
Should understand the function and physical behavior/loading condition for the given parts and assemblies so as to identify the right sensors and instruments required for data acquisition. He / She shall be able to use sensors and instruments to acquire required data on vehicles, systems, and sub-systems as per project requirements. Understand and report the acquired data in proper terms based on the requirements of different teams.
A Day in the Life
Identify the sensor and/or instruments required for data acquisition based on requirements.
Ensure the instrumentation and readiness of the vehicle for data acquisition.
Understand the acquired data and report in the relevant format based on the end user’s requirements.
Academic Qualification & Experience
B. Tech in Mechanical / Electrical / Instrumentation Engineering
Technical Skills/Knowledge
- Product/engineering understanding of two-wheelers like scooters, motorcycles, and step-through vehicles.
- Knowledge of different sensors, instruments, data acquisition systems, and statistics.
- Knowledge of working with Data acquisition equipment such as HBK eDAQ, Siemens LMS, and analysis software such as nCode Glyphworks, Siemens Test Express / Test Lab.
- Knowledge of mechanical design principles, fatigue analysis, mechanical vibrations, solid mechanics, and material science.
