Short Description
The Engineer-mechanical and functional development is responsible for engine mechanical and functional development activities as per approved model strategy with focus on implementation of relevant technologies and ensures delivery within CTQ parameters. He support engine development team to facilitate integration and parameterization of various equipment according to development needs. This will comprise of setting of engine in test bed and making all necessary measurement equipment functional at the start of project and support development team during the project. He also ensures and checks correctness of data and proper recording of data before executing next steps. This role holder also understands and works very closely with expert engineers on future technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Implementation of core technical solutions meeting the CTQ targets for engine mechanical and functional development projects. E.g: Parameterization of engine test bed Creation of test cycle and execution of test Test result and data management Support for report preparation Test matrix management Proper test setup and engine installation Guidance to mechanic Proper assembly of test engine Ensure compliance to HMCL’s own development process and methodology
- Escalate in case of unresolvable conflicts of CTQ targets
