Function – Research & Development – Jaipur

Role
CATIA mechanical designers will create designs and technical drawings for electronic and mechanical devices and equipment. They shall work closely with electronic and mechanical engineers to create and improve manufacturing systems or processes and develop drawings for a wide variety of components including DC/DC converters, chargers, and battery enclosures, as well as manage the PLM releases and ECNs
A purpose-driven role for you
- Manage PLM releases and 2D, and 3D drawings support to the electronic design team.
- Specializing in mechanical designs of electronic components.
- Complete packaging, and functional and technical design.
- Support in prototyping activities.

- Manage PLM releases and 2D, and 3D drawings support to the electronic design team.

Academic Qualification & Experience
- B.Tech or M.Tech in Mechanical Eng.
Technical Skills/Knowledge
- GD&T knowledge and experience in tolerance stack-up analysis.
- Experience in sealing concepts calculation, assembly and their selection.
- Experience in metal die casting and injection components design. Highly skilled in PLM (Siemens Teamcenter). Interference fit and adhesive joints. Highly skilled in CATIA. DFMEA, PFMEA, DFM, DFA analysis.
- Experience in assembly methodologies and design for robustness.
- Experience in plastic components is desired.
- Knowledge of proto-development fixtures, techniques and concepts Experience in extrusion components.
- Experience in material selection and assembly process.
- Capability to review mechanical simulations and optimize design.
- Experience in selecting tightening torques and definition of fasteners. Skilled CAD designer. DFMEA, PFMEA, DFM, DFA analysis.
