Position – Manager (Sales Development)

Job description
- Collaborate, network, building relationships with external stakeholders (especially with Consultants and End-user) for identifying new leads and opportunities. Travel & On field job.
- Understanding the application and product technicalities and working during the design phase with Consultants and End-user to position our products and solutions. Relevant field expertise with product and application knowledge.
- Collaborate and network with colleagues of all departments, dealers, distributors, to understand & executive activities – Internal & External collaborative approach
- Create opportunity pipeline, engage with stakeholders for effective positioning of products to increase the business – Technical capabilities and subject field expertise
- Engage with existing customers to cross-sell & Upsell
- Attend industry functions, including conferences and association events, and contribute information and feedback on upcoming market trends
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and conduct customer events, seminars, exhibitions or any technical meeting
- Plan and execute scheduled activities with a clear focus on company goals / KPIs
- Shall report to reporting manager time to time, Submit weekly/monthly progress reports and update activities as required in SAP CRM
Requirements
- BE Mechanical, Electrical or E&I stream with 8-10 years preferably in Sales / BD from an Engineering and Capital goods mfg industry
- Knowledge of pumps/ motors is preferred
- MBA from premier institutes will be an added advantage
- Experience from relevant industries, like HVAC/PHE design, product sales, business development, from contractor, OEM, and system integrator is preferable
