- Diploma/BE in Mechanical engineering with 2-5 years of work experience in the mechanical design field.
Your responsibilities and tasks:
- Utilize TACTON for detailed engineering design automation.
- Design and implement parametric features, equations, and configurations to enable design customization and variation management.
- Develop Parametric, dummy, and masked 3D models.
- Develop templates and guidelines for creating configurable models, ensuring consistency and standardization across projects.
- Optimize configurable models for performance, and usability and automate the design process end to end.
- Conduct testing and validation of configurable models to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to configurable models, including geometry conflicts, performance issues, and user errors.
Your profile and qualifications:
- Proficient in SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, TACTON Design Automation.
- Familiarity with PDM/PLM systems such as Vault/Keytech/Teamcenter.
- Familiarity with design automation methods using MS Excel.
- Understanding CAD Automation principles.
