Role Overview:
The Production Team Leader is responsible for leading and supporting the implementation, development, and direction of production teams. This role emphasizes improving product and process quality, driving productivity, and promoting a cultural shift to achieve organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Development:
- Provide support in monitoring and improving productivity while meeting customer commitments in quality, cost, and timeliness.
- Develop and implement training plans to maximize workforce capability.
Compliance & Safety:
- Ensure adherence to compliance standards and support Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) goals.
- Drive the implementation of LEAN manufacturing principles.
Quality Assurance:
- Comply with GE HealthCare Quality Management policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
- Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within deadlines.
- Identify, report, and take corrective actions for quality or compliance concerns.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation, including Device History Records (DHRs).
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams.
- Experience in implementing Best Practices and managing ambiguity.
