Job Description Summary

As part of the GE India Multi-modal renewable team, the Junior Engineer is responsible for assembly for Machine Head & Hub wind product. Also responsible for Tools & tackle monitoring, continuous improvements on cost reduction. Also, responsible to produce defect free products.

Essential Responsibilities:

• As part of the GE India Multi-modal renewable team, the Jr. Engineer is responsible for Raw material planning of Machine Head & Hub components.Essential Responsibilities
• Ability to update the master data (item attributes & ASL) in Oracle.
• Should be able to coordinate with the suppliers and take shipment readiness dates.
• Hands on experience & Ability to analyze the Material planning tracker and LoB Review.
• Ability to understand the BOM and comparison between various Customer BoM.
• Ability to understand the lean principles & EHSRA.
• Ability to interact with cross functional teams.
• Highest Levels of Personal Integrity and Safety Mindset.
• Inventory control of RM in WH and MMF.
• Ensures to build right product with zero customer delinquency.
• Ensures for process improvements to achieve targeted matrix.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• First Class Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
• 2 to 3 Years of Experience in Engineering industry – with firsthand experience of BOM updation/MO release & System job closure.
• Strong background in wind turbine manufacturing field will be desired.
