Position – Senior Design Engineer

Location – Hyderabad, Telangana
Exp. – 6+ years

Job description

• Interface cross-functionally with sourcing, product management, manufacturing and technology to execute MCTO projects.
• Develop design plans, project schedules, and evaluations plans required for successful project execution.
• Lead technical project reviews with over-site from safety, regulatory, and senior technical leaders.
• Manage resolution of technical issues, problem analysis and use FRACAS rigor to close any test failures.
• Execute multiple concurrent projects, utilizing solid technical background, influencing skills and outstanding organization.
• Use DFSS (Design for Six Sigma) and DFR (Design for Reliability) methodology to prove and implement new and modified designs.

Qualifications & Skills

• BS degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical degree
• A self-starting leader with 7 or more years of engineering experience or equivalent with excellent verbal, written lid written, and oral communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Project or equivalent scheduling software.
• Experienced with FMEA’s, product risk assessments, evaluation plan development, fishbone diagrams, tolerance loops, and design change processes.
• Home Laundry Experience with strong general knowledge of clothes washer & dryer design
• Certified Reliability Engineering or other quality certification
• DFSS Green Belt certification
• Proven ability to influence and drive change and implement projects into factories
• Experience with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing and be capable of performing tolerance stack-up calculations.
