Job description
Need a 2-year experience Mechanical, Production, Automobile Engineering Candidate for the Prismatic/Manufacturing Engineer Position. Shop floor experience, CNC Programming
Experience – 1 year to 2 Years
Bachelor in Production or Mechanical, or Automobile Engineering
Female candidates are preferred
Workload covers PTME Led Engineering Studies, including What-ifs, and Vignettes through responses (Prior to Long Lead Funding and Formal RFQ’s) for ICE, Transmission, Axle, Components capacity electrification programs, and post for new electrification studies (Power Unit, eDrive, Battery).
- Develop the manufacturing study response and management review decks (i.e. Deep Dive Decks).
- Complete study work with PD (i.e. Product word assumptions, BoD / BoP requirements).
- Support the DPA5 process through the development of component MDS and MPS KPACs. Complete MA assessments – Identify any BoD/BoP updates to be done on legacy equipment.
- Support simultaneous engineering and feasibility engineering studies among product engineering, manufacturing engineering and supplier organizations.
- Fully complete the MA0 and MA1 assessments.
- Review and Incorporate any High Hurt Actions.
- Develop the manufacturing study response and management review decks (i.e. Deep Dive Decks).
- Complete study and GPRM input.
- Develop layout 0 release (and study alternatives).
- Support and concur HPU target setting.
- Co-Lead resolution of manufacturing concerns and feasibility issues within the Component Program
