Position – CFD Engineer

Job description

1. The technical leadership in delivering Powertrain CFD projects (Engine Cooling, Exhaust after treatment, Sensor calibration, Air induction systems, etc.) as an individual contributor/with the support of the team
2. Leverage team competency by bringing new technology/concepts to deliver Program Gateways
3. Provide technical guidance on PT CFD projects to new engineers
4. Take initiative and responsibility for new challenging projects and collaborate team to deliver the task
5. Ensure lessons learned are captured, translated & applied to future program
6. Participate in Powertrain Tech club meetings and support developing action plans and solutions for critical issues related to the PT CFD system.
7. Should be able to find out the root cause for convergence issues during analysis and mentor the team to complete complex analysis.
   9. Interfacing with the customer on the project status and analysis reviews on the closure of TGW/issues within the expectation
8. Help/Support PM/LM on resource hiring by supporting technical interviews

BE/ME in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with 5 plus years of experience in Powertrain CFD

• Technical Skills
• Must have tools : Ansa/T-Grid (Fluent Meshing)/Star-CCM+/Fluent/CFD Post
• Optional tools: Converge-Studio/Ensight/Hypermesh
• Exposure to any Programming language like python/C/MatLab/TCL-TK/JAVA etc
