About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated and ambitious Production Trainee to join our team. This entry-level role provides hands-on experience in manufacturing processes, engineering practices, and production systems. As a trainee, you will collaborate with experienced professionals to learn and contribute to the optimization of manufacturing operations.
Your Responsibilities:
- Manufacturing Process Support: Assist in developing, implementing, and optimizing manufacturing processes to ensure efficiency and quality.
- Equipment Operation: Learn to operate and maintain production machinery and tools.
- Production Monitoring: Help monitor production lines, identify inefficiencies, and address performance issues.
- Technical Support: Collaborate with engineers to troubleshoot equipment and process-related issues.
- Quality Control: Participate in inspections, testing, and adherence to industry standards.
- Data Analysis: Collect and analyze production data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
- Continuous Improvement: Support lean manufacturing initiatives, process optimizations, and cost-saving measures.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to health, safety, and environmental standards in the workplace.
- Project Participation: Assist in engineering projects like process automation, equipment upgrades, and new product introductions.
What You Bring:
Education:
- High school diploma, technical diploma, or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (or currently pursuing).
Skills:
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and engineering principles.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
