Job description

Role Summary:

This position is responsible for the design/engineering of pump packages, pump components, pump layouts, and preparation of bill of material/project-related technical documentation.

Responsibilities:

• Hands-on experience in GA Drawing Preparation and BOM Preparation with Oracle / SAP or any other ERP is an added advantage.
• Ability to provide end-to-end support for Project engineering work.
• Ability to generate 2D detail drawings, complex 3D models, and assembly using CAD software.
• Perform checking of own design/drafting work in compliance with design and drafting standards and fulfillment of engineering job requirements.
• Drive strong engineering performance with respect to responsiveness, and key indicators (OTD, KQI, utilization, and efficiency).
• Ability to sustain and improve key indicators by using CIP.
• Demonstrate strong collaboration between team engineers, Senior Engineers and Supervisors.
• Create design document standards by participating in meetings and preparing presentation materials as necessary.

Requirements:

• BE/BTech in Mechanical/Production Engineering with a Minimum of 2 Years or a Diploma with a minimum of 4 years of experience in the Pump industry is preferred.
• Proficient in CAD design and drafting in any of the 3D CAD software, preferably SolidWorks
• Knowledge and hands-on experience in the pump industry
• Knowledge of ASME, API, ISO Standards, and procedures.
• Must be conversant with GD&T (Basics & Advanced) and drafting standard ANSI Y 14.5.
• Hands-on experience in pump assembly, repair, and servicing is an added advantage.
