Role Summary:

Plans, directs, and coordinates manufacturing processes involving machining, assembly, and testing. Develops, evaluates, and improves manufacturing methods, utilizing knowledge of product design, materials and parts, fabrication processes, tooling, and production. Analyzes and improves quality, cost, and delivery by using Lean and Six Sigma tools. Provides engineering support in production departments by troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.

Responsibilities:

• Ability to generate 2D detail drawings, 3D models, and assembly using CAD software.
• Ability to provide end-to-end support for Project engineering work.
• Perform checking of own design/drafting work in compliance with design and drafting standards and fulfillment of engineering job requirements.
• Drive strong engineering performance with respect to responsiveness, and key indicators (OTD, KQI, utilization, and efficiency).
• Ability to sustain and improve key indicators by using CIP.
• Prepare engineering standards/ procedures/ checklist/ learning points to minimize errors for all types of assignments for responsible business units.
• Effectively communicate and build rapport with business units. Enhance collaboration to achieve high customer satisfaction.
• Demonstrate strong collaboration between team engineers, Senior engineers and Supervisors.
• Create design document standards by participating in meetings and preparing presentation materials as necessary.

Requirement:

• Graduate Engineer in Mechanical Engineering with 2+ years of relevant experience in the pump industry.
• Detailed knowledge on the Design of pumps or related equipment.
• Comprehensive knowledge of ASME / API/ DIN design standards and material specifications.
• Excellent ability to read and understand engineering drawings/documents/reports.
• Proficient in 2D and 3D CAD tools
• Must be conversant with GD&T (Basics & Advanced) and drafting standard ANSI Y 14.5.
• Hands-on experience in pump assembly is an added advantage.
