- Monitoring, measuring, and providing feedback on process performance, facilitating process workshops that involve eliciting process requirements and liaising with users.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (i.e. product management, engineering, quality, project engineering, applications engineering) and vendors to get inputs on pain areas and co-ordinate to fill gaps.
- Identify concerns with processes, methods or data and where possible develop or contribute to the development of solutions with management support
- Working on New process implementation, streamlining program processes, and reducing lead time for project delivery timelines.
- Implementing systems to ease tracking tasks and workflow using an agile methodology (Jira, Confluence, Arena, and NetSuite).
- To observe, analyze, and document these processes, workflows, issues, and identify benefits from enabling new capabilities.
- Preparing dashboards for quick executive-level summary to know program status.
- Providing recommendations based on product development expertise with focus guided by program execution balancing quality, speed to market, cost reduction, and constructability.
- Process redesign workshops, educating business users responsible for managing and operating business processes, and documenting processes.
- Support product development, sales, and marketing as requested
- Improve how our organization and business operations help better support and service to our customers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering. An MBA in Business Analytics or another related discipline is preferred. Minimum 8-10 yrs. of experience required.
- Minimum 3-4 years of working experience in managing process/systems for New part development. Knowledge of Solar Trackers will carry additional weightage.
- Knowledge of Program management tools like Jira and confluence is preferable. (Not Mandatory)
- Knowledge of PLM software like “Arena” and enterprise resource planning software like “NetSuite” is preferable.
- Excellent analytical skills, knowledge of processes and implementation of new
- Experience in working in international teams and with customers & Understanding of dealing with customer support and O&M issues
- Strong interpersonal skills with Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities with proven management experience
- Ability to work under high pressure and tight deadlines, excellent time management
