Location: K226/2 Disc Brake – R&D

Offered Grade: O2 (Senior Engineer)

Nature of Employment: On-roll, Full-time, On-site

Qualification:

Mandatory: BE in Mechanical, Production, Automobile or Manufacturing Engg.

Experience:

Number of Years: Fresher 03 to 8years
Age group- 24~ 32yrs.

Job Description: New Product Design & Development

Functional Area

Design & Development of Automotive Components
(Preference: Two-Wheeler Brake Systems)

Technical Skills & Knowledge

Functional knowledge of Two-Wheeler Brake Systems and their validation requirements
Hands-on experience in 3D modelling and 2D drafting using Creo
Knowledge of brake system components such as:
- Master Cylinder
- Caliper
- Disc
- Brake Hoses
Ability to analyze failures and propose effective countermeasures
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of DFMEA and GD&T
Understanding of casting and sheet metal manufacturing processes

Roles & Responsibilities

Understand design requirements and translate them into feasible and manufacturable designs
Develop realistic design models considering manufacturing feasibility and cost
Ensure adherence to project timelines and delivery schedules
Perform detailed design, tolerance stack-up analysis, and timely design release
Follow a Design First Time Right approach
Participate in VAVE (Value Analysis / Value Engineering) activities for brake system development
Conduct and participate in benchmarking activities along with relevant stakeholders

Support continuous improvement in design quality, cost, and performance
