Job description
- Understand Reliability test plan and deliver quality output/deliverables to meet the expected schedule and timeline
- Shall plan individual tests, schedule entire validations, build a product, set up tests
- Shall perform following tests independently:
- Reliability test, Functional, leakage (Seat & External), flow rate (Cv / Kv), reproducibility, stroke/force characteristics, pressure control characteristics, opening pressure, activation and deactivation voltage of switching valves, isolation test, ingress protection, vibration, temperature (hot/cold/cycling), vibration, burst pressure,
- Prepare Test plan and records
- Responsible for maintenance of test equipment & utilities which includes activities such as Troubleshooting, identifying spare & critical parts, keeping a record of AMC, keep watch on operations of all equipment, etc.
- Certification/Correlation activities
- Dealing with the supplier to get necessary parts/equipment manufactured which are required for testing
- B10d calculations
- Expert analysis level 1, 2 and 3
- Assume additional roles and responsibilities as required.
- Shall follow all safety norms
- Adherence to the quality process. On-time delivery & Quality of the deliverables
- Communicate and coordinate results with the team members
- Collaboratively work with other teams
- Willingness to learn is critical
- Drive various organizational initiatives
- The person will be handling all Engineering Change Requests/Notifications independently
Qualifications
- Minimum Diploma in Engineering, Degree in Mechanical desired, with relevant exposure to the Test environment
- @4 to 6 years’ experience in Valve Domain, Solenoid Valves will be preferred
- Must know how to use the following instruments
- Multimeter, oscilloscope, position sensing, force measurements, pressure sensing with gauges and sensors, weight measurements with precision scales, microscope
- Must have participated in Functional & Reliability of test lab
- Experience in planning individual tests, scheduling entire validations, setting up the test set up
- Knowledge of Strong modeling and drafting practices
- Software skills: Creo (desirable), Conversant with MS Office Software tools such as Word, Excel & PowerPoint, SAP Document Management
- Aware of PDMLink Practices
- Knows GD&T, Tolerance Study and International Standards
- Good Knowledge of Solenoid Valves, Relief valves, Pneumatic Valves, Shutoff Valve.
