Designation / Role Name : Product Order Engineer

Job Description:
1) Process incoming orders received at FCEC
2) Support Department targets to reduce Order Entry lead times and Backlog
3) Should be an effective team player for on-time project submission
Responsibilities :
1) Review incoming orders (commercial and technical) according to established guidelines/requirements
2) Check requirements in specification sheets against the technical information in OEDI/II and Bulletins. i.e. product versus service compatibility
3) Verify required options are compatible with the selected options
4) Create/update product structures to meet the required construction
5) Submit requests for engineering and/or part number setup
6) Raise Internal Order Requisitions (IOR) to factories
7) Provide timely response to factory enquiries
8) Assume role of Order Engineering coordinator for large project orders
9) Interact with Sales/LBP(Local Business Partners) regarding technical queries
Educational Qualification :
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering(preferably Mechanical Engineering Background)

Job description
Summary
Responsible for Sheet Metal and Plastic Design for products of PSS.
Essential Job Responsibilities
- Design and Develop Sheet Metal Component for products (CHARMS) of PSS.
- Prepare mechanical assemblies and drawings for design and manufacturing.
- Participate in design reviews, DFMEA etc. and implement the findings.
- Prepare various documentations like manufacturing drawings, engineering specifications, test plans and procedures.
- Support all the tasks for development projects in meeting the project goals.
- Work in flexible hours as needed to support local and remote engineering center(s).
Technical Skills
- Experience in Sheet metal and Plastic component Design and development.
- Relevant experience in sheet metal work like cutting, bending, forming, lancing, slitting, punching etc. is must.
- Experience in handling and creating 3D CAD models, manufacturing drawings, PDM etc.
Soft Skills
- Self-motivated to perform in design projects/tasks
- Possess analytical, problem-solving skills
- Possess excellent oral and written communication skills
Education & Experience:
- BE/B Tech/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering With minimum 5 to 7 years of relevant work Experience.
- Relevant experience in sheet metal work like cutting, bending, forming, lancing, slitting, punching etc. is must.
- Experienced within mechanical and engineering design tools like solid edge.
- Knowledge of plastic injection molding would be an added advantage.
