Job Summary:
By joining us as Engineer/ Senior Engineer Planning, you will be handling the Effective PPC and release plans for the procurement, shop releases, and sales every month to minimize inventory, optimize load inside the plant, and improve the sales
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Implement daily purchase orders including inquiry, price comparison, negotiation, and contract signing.
- Remove the scheduling hold for SO then progress & and build the star (*) configured item.
- Check the content of order acknowledgments and take appropriate actions to resolve materials issues (price, quantity, specification, and delivery dates) and update the promised date based on order acknowledgment in the business system
- Ensure Level loading in aligned with plant capacity.
- Daily morning market discussion between planner and operation team on the production plan and another pending issue.
- Scheduling Summary report to review the status of the SO whether meeting the customer request date or not.
- Connect with the operation team for resource planning if any product family has a huge surge in demand.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts on a monthly basis highlighting any budget issues, risks, and resource requirements. In addition, prepare an annual booking budget by product/value/period.
- Adjust the SSD for the auto-scheduled order when needed.
- Target to promise SO within 3 weeks, MPS or equivalent experience will connect with the buyer for the PO promise date & also bring it up to the material manager when vital.
- Rescheduling to be done based on RICE130 for SSD 6 to 16 weeks review with the buyer
- Ship set to be ensured for single lot shipment.

You keep in touch with customers, build customer relationships, understand the importance and interdependence of internal customer relationships, balance planning with actions, research initiatives and try new approaches, You stay aligned with your goals and stay productive, focus on priorities and set stretch goals, apply systems and technology to stay on track, convert ideas into actions and produce results with new initiatives.
For This Role, You Will Need:
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and the necessary skills to effectively apply technology and systems specific to the department required.
- Generate monthly reports and presentations.
- Bi-weekly meeting between MPS and buyer to discuss on the material alignment
- Discuss with buyer and reschedule the MPS based on the Change order for not released orders.
- 6-16th Week review with buyer and rescheduling based on SD report
- Scheduling based on plant capacity, ATP and ensure Level loading.
- Ensure that the orders are scheduled as per the LT / SLT with buyer acknowledgement
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in engineering mechanical or related subject area, with minimum 3+ years proven experience
- Knowledge of valve industry
- Good analytical skills
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications especially in Excel and PowerPoint and the necessary skills to optimally apply technology and systems specific to the department required.
- Familiar with Oracle application of Betsy & Billy.EMS & ISO 45001
- Awareness about EMS & ISO 45001 practices
- Experience in ISO 14001:2015 – ISO 45001:2018 – ISO 9001:2015 procedures & instructions
