Job description

Previous Experience/Skills Desired:

• Motivated professional with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in industrial product design and development. Experience in Electro-mechanical products would be an added advantage.
• Candidate must have sound experience in casting, sheet metal parts design, product validation & getting manufacturing.
• Candidate must have experience in performing Design calculations, Tolerance Stack-up, and problem-solving.
• Proficiency in Creo Parametric, AutoCAD, SAP, Windchill
• Good Knowledge of GD&T, DFMA, and FMEA.
• Knowledge of Standards like ASME, ISO, IEC, etc.
• Self-motivated, and capable of working with minimal supervision.
• Experience working in a global engineering environment with effective communication skills
• Undertakes work in an efficient and timely manner.
• A willingness to learn is critical.
• Strong interpersonal skills and team player.
• Good understanding of Microsoft tools like Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Work with a multidisciplinary team to solve problems as part of the Design Engineering Department
• Create 3D models, assemblies, and drawings in Creo Parametric and AutoCAD.
• Work on Design Change requests (ECO/ECN)
• Create Material Master and BoM in SAP
• Participate in Design Review Meetings and ideation events and come up with innovative solutions.
• Adherence to Quality processes, time delivery, and quality of the deliverables
• Work with cross functions – marketing, supply chain, manufacturing, and other stakeholders to review the designs, update status, and meet the project objectives.
• Good knowledge of manufacturing processes like Casting/Machining/Sheet metal.
• Prepare technical documentation, presentations, reports, etc.
• Willing to learn and explore new technology.
• Should possess an analytical approach to solving problems.
