Job description

In this role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Work on selected Design Projects as a Team Member. Provide backup support as needed for other E&D Projects.
• Prepare Assembly Design Layouts with Complete GD&T and analysis of Fits and Clearances.
• Develop 3D Solid Models and Assemblies of Design Components.
• Provide Necessary Drawings / 3D Models required from Concept through Production.
• Provide Drawing Packages including Details, Assemblies, Layouts, and BOM Structures.
• The person will be handling all Engineering Change Requests / Notifications independently.
• Interact with other Design Team Members to meet and optimize product Design Requirements.
• Assume Additional Roles and Responsibilities as required. Capable of handling Multiple Projects.
• Adherence to Quality Process. On-Time Delivery & Quality of the Deliverables.
• Communicate and Coordinate results with the Team Members.
• Collaboratively work with other Teams.
• Prepare engineering documentation including bill of material in any ERP system.
• Intermediate Interaction with Business Unit Personnel thru’ Verbal & Written Communication.
• Report Local Manager for All the activities.
• Contribute to various Organizational Initiatives.

• As a CAD Associate / Engineer, you are ready to take action on challenging CAD requests and seizing new opportunities to fulfill Design / Drawing Needs of product Designers / Engineers to Support NPD and Sustaining Projects.
• Will Learn quickly and Experiment to find new solutions.
• Understand Customer needs, attentively listen, and communicate well with All.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering desired with relevant exposure to Design Environment @1 to 4 years.
• Software Skills: Creo (Expert Level), AutoCAD / Draftsight, Aware of PDMLink Practices, knows MS Office Software tools such Word, Excel & PowerPoint, Teams.
• Knowledge of Strong Modelling and Drafting Practices.
• Good Drawing Reading and Understanding Abilities.
• Basic knowledge of GD&T and International Standards is preferred.
• Machining and Basic Tolerance Study preferred.
• Basic Engineering and Manufacturing Methods of Casting, Plastic Molding, Rubber, Exposure to Global Engineering environment preferred.
