Job Summary

If you are an order execution and product engineering support professional, Emerson has an exciting role for you! We are looking for an Order Sustainment Engineer to work with our Pervasive Sensing Team. This role will work independently and as a part of a team to execute order with engineering support on ERP and PLM activities for Knife gate valve products. You will be working on Valve sustainment support, which includes part code creation, BoM generation, General arrangement drawings, CAD support for VA/VE projects, working with suppliers to resolve technical queries and interacting with project management / PSQ / Production teams.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Work within the engineering team to create and maintain ERP data to support order execution at the plant.
• Prepared order engineering deliverables e.g. Technical order review, BoM, Level 2/3 GADs.
• Provide solutions to BOM/GAD-related issues to operations and support for product design change activities.
• Provide CAD support to the product design team to execute VA/VE and sustenance engineering projects.
• Builds relationships across functions, locations & global teams to gain/share information on different knife gate valve products.

For This Role, You Will Need:

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

• Minimum 3 to 5 years’ proven experience in order execution and product sustainment engineering.
• Proficient in engineering CAD, and PLM tools preferably Solid Works, Inventor, Autodesk Vault, Solid Works PDM Pro, etc.
• Sound Experience with ERP systems like SAP, Baan etc.
• Good understanding of manufacturing processes, and materials used in the General mechanical industry.
• Experience with industrial design standards like ASME/ANSI standards, API, EN, etc.
• Thoroughness in documentation and attention to detail
• effectively communicate with Local, Global & cross-functional teams.
• Fluent in English (both written and verbal) and effectively communicate with Local, Global & cross-functional teams.
