Title of the Position: BOM ENGINEER
Qualification Required: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (Preferable) / B.E. Mechanical
Work Experience Required: 2-3 Years (D.M.E.) / 1-2 (max) Years (B.E.)
Job Description:
Create, configure and maintain product EBOM and MBOM structures in Oracle and
Teamcenter (TC) based on engineering, product planning, and manufacturing requirements. Create and configure master EBOM from CAD structures. Use TC Configurator to generate specific product BOMs necessary for the release of all product SKUs to Oracle.
- Working on Engineering & Manufacturing Bill of Material of a product on Team Center & Oracle
- Interpret intent on Engineering Change Notices, and change requested to determine the appropriate structure/content of eBOMs & mBOMs based on inputs.
- Maintaining & Creating E-BOM & M-BOM in Team Center & Oracle
- Working on Oracle BOM Changes through ECN
- Review the TeaCenter Structure Manager and Oracle BOM work
- Support workflow processes to create item master records from CAD objects
Requirement:
- Diploma Mechanical
- Good Understanding of Teamcenter Structure Manager, Oracle & Engineering change management process.
- Excellent understanding of the Engineering Bill of Materials
- Detail-oriented and able to maintain data effectively & accurately
- Good communication skills are desirable
- Strong Interpersonal skills & team working
- A willingness to learn is critical
