Job description

Job title – Application Engineer, MEA, PRM
Location – FCEC, Chennai, India

This role will support the quotation of pressure management products and will work in coordination with the projects team in Dubai, MEA.

Review project specifications and prepare deviations list
Clarify doubts on technical specifications through conference calls with the Sales office/LBP
Sizing and selection of relief valves/regulators using proprietary PRV2SIZE/FF2 software
Contact the WA factory as and when required for critical application solutions/special prices
Involved in all steps of the projects from initial RFQ to purchase order booking
Prepare Technical and Commercial Quote, technical deviations list, and generate reports and drawings
Calculate overall project gross margin in consult with GPP and Sales Director.
Follow up directly with customers on key projects to drive business growth
Understand different customer needs and develop a strategy to position as a trusted partner
Ensure resultant purchase orders are clean and in line with a quotation and agreed terms and conditions
Provide support on project revisions from the Customer
Provide technical support for BOM /factory clarifications and assist with change orders
Contribute towards the internal product training program where possible
Maintain records of all work done.

Minimum requirement: Engineering Degree in Mechanical, Instrumentation or Chemical
Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders in a project
Basic knowledge of valves and its working principles
Ability to analyze issues and provide solutions that are technically proficient and on time
