Position – Lead Boiler Operator

Job description

• Operation of the boiler and demineralized water treatment plants per daily requirements.
• Maintaining logbook for boiler and demineralized water treatment plant.
• Preventive maintenance of the boiler as per schedule.
• Preventive maintenance of demineralized water system as per schedule.
• Attend breakdown maintenance and maintain equipment history card for boiler and DM plant.
• Maintain fuel stock of furnace oil and diesel Incoordination with engineering stores.
• Unloading the furnace oil and diesel from the tanker to furnace oil storage and diesel storage tank. Transfer the furnace oil and diesel to a boiler day storage tank.
• Communication with the authority for inspection of the boiler.
• Record and maintain the consumption of steam, water, and fuel.
• Timely completion of training allotted.
• Co-ordination with QA and auditors during the self-inspection program.
• Maintain certificates of spares required for the boiler and Dopant.
• Ensure that cGMP practices and safety are followed during work.
• Co-ordinate to external vendors for instruments calibration activities for the boiler house area.
• Raise and execution of works in boiler premises as and when required.

Education – BTech/ BE in Mechanical, Chemical
