Experience range (Years) – 2 years – 9 years

Key Purpose of the Job :

• Development of Induction motor/high efficiency special electric machines(PMSM, Syn Rel)

Educational Qualification / Experience required :

• Bachelor’s/Master’s in Mechanical Engineering
• Experience of 2 to 7 years in the Mechanical motor industry
• Hands-on experience in Mechanical design of Induction motors/PMSM/Syn Rel

Key Responsibilities :

1. Responsible for Mechanical design, prototype building, and proving
2. Responsible for the Engineering change management of designs and statutory approvals

• Understand the VOC and prepare the design strategy
• Structural/Thermal/Rotor dynamic design of motor, work with the electrical team to achieve optimum thermal/mechanical performance
• Assess the impact of motor performance due to mechanical stress and arrive at the optimum design to test ratio
• Awareness on IEC/NEMA standard approval for Standard mounting/dimension/Noise/Vibration and Ingress protection
