Roles and Responsibilities
- Can work in a team of professionals and engineers in the area of quality, manufacturing engineering and current engineering aimed at continuous improvement initiatives with primary focus on safety, quality, cost and product/process improvement.
- Lead, direct, guide and manage operational excellence and quality team.
- Serve as a change agent, driving continual and sustainable improvement culture through consistent exhibit and initiation of operation excellence and quality initiatives.
- Oversee and manage site vide company projects aimed at cost reduction through productivity, quality and efficiency enhancement.
- Oversee defective materials analysis for the determination of root causes and resolution of nonconforming parts, documents, processes and implementation of improvement.
- Manage & report data e.g. scrap, rework, warranty, debit note, sos etc.
- Identify improvement opportunities, utilize systematic problem solving techniques of 8D Methodology and drive quality & organization improvement projects aimed at cost avoidance and reduction programs reported to MIS Tool.
- Prepare Inventory dashboards, Fund planning reports, order status, planned vs actual reports for various verticals of product line.
- Contribute as a part of CFT team towards MAT meetings, Safety Audits, CCRP Reviews, Improvement Projects.
- Lead, Plan & Manage process and product audit. Plan and coordinate quality observation tours at plant level. Timely disposal of actions. Support certifies product limitations and requirements.
- Responsible for driving the manufacturing, quality and process improvement initiatives throughout the factory.
- Support the operations though implementation of lean techniques, with problem solving techniques like 4Q.5 Whys and other SQC.
Desired Candidate Profile
