- The primary responsibility of this role is to:
- support analysis projects and develop simulation models for mechanical systems & assemblies for EATON products using ANSYS & allied technology software.
- simplify CAD models for mesh-ready workflow, generate meshes, and check and rectify mesh quality issues.
- study & understand product-related information to perform necessary analytical calculations and simulations to verify the design.
- post-process analysis results, derive meaningful conclusions, and propose design actions based on conclusions.
- partners with India & global teams, understands the design intent, and develops, and validates simulation models. Work closely with the testing team to validate simulation outcomes.
- collaborate with cross-functional teams to mature the current & develop new simulation methodologies.”
- Develops simulation models for mechanical simulations of Eaton Electrical products
- Simplify CAD models for mesh-ready workflow, generate meshes in meshes, check and rectify mesh quality issues
- Post-process analysis results, derive meaningful conclusions and propose design actions based on conclusions
- Analyzes prototype test data and extracts required inputs for modeling activities
- Validates analysis results with prototype test results to evaluate model improvement needs
- Partners with local and global product teams
Qualifications:
- BTech/BE – Mechanical & Equivalent Engineering
- 0-2 years
Skills:
- Candidate must have strong engineering fundamentals in thermal, design & basics of the manufacturing process.
- Working knowledge of ANSYS Mechanical, Fluent & MATLAB will be an added advantage.
- Proficiency with 3D CAD tools”
