SIMULIA Industry Solutions Technical Consultant
Industry Solution Technical Hub in Dassault Systèmes requires a strong candidate with expertise in fluids and thermal simulation. The Industry Solutions Technical team works to create the right solution package for the various customer needs across the Industrial Equipment Industry. They also create content for the demos, customer pilots, and Proof of Concepts that is used by the Tech Sales and Marketing teams. The goal is to help customers adopt and integrate fluids and thermal Simulation into their processes to solve their business problems.
We have an opening for a Modeling and Simulation Engineer on the team. We are looking for a candidate with strong expertise in the fluids simulation domain. You should be able to leverage your technical skills to get industry knowledge and hands-on work experience by working on real industry problems to expand existing Industry Solution Experiences using SIMULIA’s fluids solutions.
Role Description & Responsibilities
- Define and Develop customer-centric use cases in the domain of Mechanical Engineering
- Create customer demonstrations for all Industry verticals to showcase the value propositions of SIMULIA’s fluids solutions and 3DEXPERIENCE platform
- Interact with counterparts and discuss new proposals and ideas
- Conduct knowledge-sharing sessions and create relevant collaterals / white papers
- Develop technical documents and handbooks to accurately represent application design
Qualifications
- You must have 0 to 3 Experience years of total and relevant experience
- Masters or Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering, Applied Mechanics or equivalent with Masters with project in Fluid/thermal simulation domain.
- Experienced with CFD analysis using PowerFLOW, XFlow Analysis, ANSYS, StarCCM+, or other commercial CFD simulation packages
- Experience with a good understanding of CAD, CFD, and PLM used in industries
- Knowledge of complete, end-to-end industry workflows from modeling, and simulation to post-processing with OEMs/Tier 1 suppliers is a must
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently as a member of a team and individually.
- Strong English verbal/written communication skills and good presentation skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a desire for continuous learning
- Knowledge of complete, end-to-end industry workflows from modeling, and simulation to post-processing with OEMs/Tier 1 suppliers is a must
