Quality Engineer – DELMIA Digital Manufacturing
An integral part of the Dassault Systèmes 3DEXPERIENCE platform is the connection between the virtual and real worlds. DELMIA, powered by the 3DEXPERIENCE platform, helps industries and service providers connect the virtual and real worlds of value networks to collaborate, model, optimize and perform.It provides solutions to leverage the virtual world of modeling and simulation with the real world of operations.
The apprenticeship is for the Quality Assurance team within the DELMIA Brand working from the Bangalore Lab. The Quality Assurance team is responsible for performing best-in-class quality assessments to secure, up-front, successful usage of DELMIA solutions by optimizing testing cycle time for accelerated delivery while improving test coverage for product quality and customer use.
- Primary Responsibility would be to test\validate the DELMIA Machining suite of Applications.
- This includes developing, maintaining and regularly executing automated tests during the release cycle to verify for Non-Regression using DS Internal Tools.
- The candidate will also be responsible for Identifying and reporting software defects with the right severity definition.
- Fresher with a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or relevant streams.
- Understanding of different Manufacturing principles and concepts.
- Familiarity with Software Development Lifecycle and Quality assurance activities.
- Knowledge of the use of CAD\CAM, Simulation software (3DExperience Platform, DELMIA, CATIA, Solidworks, NX..)
- Good to have – Scripting knowledge with any Programming language (Javascript, VBScript, Python..)
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Works well with minimal supervision and can prioritize his or her workload efficiently.
- Consistently use their curiosity to find the underlying cause of things.
- Proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
