Position – Senior Reliability and Quality Engineer in Design

Job description
Danfoss Climate solution is looking for an experienced Senior Reliability and quality engineer in design who is ready to take on a truly exciting and challenging role.
You will be part of the RAC R&D and Engineering organization and will report to the Head of R&D and Engineering in India
Job Responsibilities
- Lead and conduct milestone design reviews and recommend pas or no-pas
- Ensure customer-specific requirements are observed and quality targets are aligned with customers
- Early identification of application and product risks and failure mechanisms as part of technology development
- Review deliverables/documentation for New Product Development (e.g. requirements, specifications, tests plans, test results, traceability, design reviews, reports, etc.)
- Support correct use of Design Standard tools such as SFMEA, DFMEA, Qualification plan, and Lesson learnt
- Drive reliability engineering activities in projects working closely together with project teams and application engineers
- Support global reliability reporting
- Sharing best practices and proactively coach the teams to be successful in accordance with specified requirements.
- Identify improvement areas and escalate to R&D and Engineering managers
- Plan and prepare risk mitigation
It will be an advantage, if you have:
- Experience in teaching or coaching
- Worked closely with laboratory or inspection center
- Experience with Quality and Reliability tools such as Reliasoft
Background & Skills
The ideal candidate possesses these skills.
- Bachelor or similar education with a reliability engineering background
- 6+ years’ experience in quality assurance/design of mechanical and/or electronic products
- Proven track record within product development, quality assurance, reliability engineering and robust design
- Able to read and understand drawings and technical documentation
- Effective communication skills
- Experience with cross cultural teams in multiple locations
- Solid experience in problem solving
- Networking skills
- Able to become a technical authority
- Strong technical knowhow and logical mindset
- Team player & Positive and open minded
