Job description
Danfoss is looking for an Engineer, Benchmarking; VAVE under third party role.
Job Responsibilities
Roles/Responsibilities:
Performing Benchmark activities on Competitor Products.
- Analysing Competitor Products for Form-Fit-Function.
- Defining and performing Tests for Product-Performance analysis.
- Preparing Analysis report to demonstrate improvement factors on Danfoss Products.
- Contribute to Idea Generation Workshops by providing insights from Benchmarked Projects.
Background & Skills
Mechanical Design Competencies:
- Proficient Knowledge on Mechanical Design and Guidelines.
- Knowledge of different Materials and their applications.
- Know-how of Material Treatment processes and their applications.
- Knowledge on Testing & Validation of Parts and Products.
Manufacturing Competencies:
- Proficient knowledge and know-how of different Manufacturing Processes.
- Part Manufacturing, viz., Forging, Casting, Moulding, Forming, Machining, etc.
- Assembly Manufacturing, viz., Fastening, Welding/Brazing, Press-fit, etc.
Analytical Competencies:
- Good Analytical skills on Product Assemblies and Parts.
- Knowledge on comparative analysis of products for same application.
Communication:
- Proficient skills in communicating project deliverables across Functions and Management.
The ideal candidate possesses:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Automotive, and Mechatronics Engineering with at least 4 years of experience.
- In lieu of Bachelor’s’s Degree plus 4 years experience; Master’s Degree in Mechanical, Automotive, or Mechatronics Engineering with at least 3 years of experience
