Job Duties and Responsibilities

Position: FEA Engineer

Job Location: Pune

Educational Qualifications

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical/Automobile engineering or equivalent

Minimum years of experience – 3-4 years of relevant experience in FEA of structural & vibration analysis

Nature of experience – Automotive/Electric Vehicle Domain

Skills Required:

• Strong CAE/FEA fundamentals
• Good knowledge of FE preprocessing and analysis software like Abaqus, FE-Safe, Hypermesh, SimLab, or equivalent.
• Knowledge of optimization tools like Tosca, Isight, and OptiStruct will be an added advantage.
• Good communication & interpersonal skills
• Good Team Player, Positive Attitude and Disciplined
• Experience working in the automotive sector. Experience in Engine and EV product simulations will be of added advantage.

Job Description / Responsibilities

• Create the FEA models as per standard guidelines.
• Perform structural and vibration analysis of components, sub-systems, and assemblies.
• Perform correlation analysis with field/experimental data.
• Create good quality reports that can be easily interpreted.
• Evaluate the analysis performance vs. targets.
• Use engineering techniques, hand calculations, etc.
• Take ownership for quality work and timely defect-free deliveries.
• Strive for continuous improvements
